Maggi McClure was a Certified Dog Trainer (CPDT) for many years and holds a professional membership with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.  For over 25 years Maggi has been coaching people and their dogs in a broad capacity.  She has taught and trained family dog obedience at some of the top training and boarding kennels in Western Washington both as staff trainer and head trainer.

Maggi assisted and taught agility for the Rainer Agility Team and MAC Agility Center. As head trainer at the Canine Country Club she created a new training program that focused on the use of positive feedback to the dog for behavioral issues, socialization, and manners. Maggi now resides on Vashon Island where she offers her training services to the island community and surrounding Puget Sound area.

In-home consultations, teaching classes and coaching other canine professionals has all been part of her path as a trainer.  Maggi has also worked as a commercial/movie animal trainer and has trained for companies such as Panasonic, Warner Brothers, Iams, and PetSmart.

With such a broad background in training and her experience competing and teaching in agility, herding, and having two Delta Society therapy dogs Maggi brings both a high skill level and a creative approach in helping owners resolve issues or setting new goals for their pets.

In her spare time Maggi competes and judges events across the United States with her Border Collies.  She is an Open handler and Lifetime member of the USBCHA(United States Border Collie Handlers Asscociation).  Maggi is passionate about breeding and training working dogs with good minds and solid work ethics.  Mostly she enjoys hanging out with her family on the farm, raising lamb, competing with her dogs, and playing outside.

In 2017 Maggi competed on the US Team in the Netherlands at the World Sheepdog Trials:
