Puppy Power Hour
This is an in-home consultation (1 1/2 hr session) at your home where I can see how your pup is aclimating to your family, answer your concerns, and help you get started with a good management program.
Behavior Consultations and In-Home Coaching
Working with clients within their home allows me to better assess the dog's behavior and training needs. Since we can focus on the individuality of the dog(s) we can be more efficient and effective in our training protocals. We can also meet out in the world where certain issues are being expressed. Both individual sessions and 4 session packages are available.
My 4 session package has been a favorite amongst clients for years. Great results. Happy Dogs. Happy Dog Owners.
Boarding School
Our one-month program is a highly intensive training school where your dog learns a variety of tasks while focusing on manners, leadership, and socialization. The training program can also be designed to help with behavioral issues such sound sensitivity, shyness, fear, or aggression. Your dog will enjoy daily playgroups, training sessions, field trips, and personal care. This isn’t a “boot-camp” type of program but a program geared to keep your dog’s mind and body active, expanding their comfort-zones, and building confidence. During the month your family will be a part of the training process as we pass the leash back over to you. Keeping you involved in the training process is very important to us. We want to be sure you learn how to continue your dog’s learning at home!
Puppy JumpStart
Our 10-day jump-start is a wonderful foundation builder for your new pup. Socialization, mouthing, housetrainingn, and the beginning "building blocks" help get your pup off on the right paw. We begin the basics, introduce marker based training, leash walking, sit, down, go to your bed, and waiting at doors.
Newly Adopted Dogs
Most dogs are given up for adoption between the ages of 7-14months, during their adolescent and young adult life. Many of these dogs are in need of a compassionate leader and clear boundaries so they can enjoy their family life. It is very important to me that clients with newly adopted dogs get started in a positive leadership program as soon as possible, thus aiding the dog to life they can relax and learn appropriate behavior for their new home. Discounted Rates for dogs adopted in the last month.
Film/Commercial Work
Maggi has worked for a variety of companies as a commercial animal trainer and coordinator. Companies such as Warner Brothers, Panasonic, PetSmart, Iams and many other national and local film and print companies have contracted Maggi for their handler/wrangler needs.
